Boardwalk Boutique Hotel
A small boutique style, hotel that is conveniently located right behind the Ritz Aruba. The owners are serious about customer service and the rooms or casitas are absolutely adorable and spacious. Furthermore, the setting of the hotel is very tropical and serene. The hotel was definitely an excellent balance between modern and tropical. Being in a small hotel in such an intimate setting was very peaceful and relaxing.
SUITES
The décor provides an island feel that you would not get in a boxy room in a high-rise hotel. The design of the casitas also allowed for maximum privacy and gives you the feeling of having your own private home. Each of their casita’s not only comes with a fully equipped kitchen but also has a private balcony with a grill, hammock and table.
POOL
Boardwalk has a relatively small pool when you compare it to other larger hotels but they have some of the most comfortable beach chairs for you to lay on and relax by the pool. They also have a number of couches and hammocks for you near the pool area where you can relax after a long day.
BEACH
Boardwalk is conveniently located just across the street from the Ritz and has a private area on the beach between the Marriott and Ritz where you can book a beach bed the night before and hence are always guaranteed an area by the beach on a comfortable beach beds or palapas as they call them in Aruba.
HAPPY BELLY
Since this was a boutique style hotel, morning breakfast was the only food that was available at the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and the smoothies that come with it was amazing. The kitchen however is well equipped if you wish to cook your own meals.
